:  This listing is for what looks like an old, antique American Indian dress for a girl or small woman.  Could have been a costume for Halloween or Play.    However, someone just wrote and said this was a campfire girl's uniform, pre-girl scouts.
Dress is tan cotton canvas fabric in straight dress design. There are 6 eyelets at neckline apparently for a tie of some sort to thread through it.
Dress is beaded around neckline with turquoise and reddish orange with some black seed beads. At front the beads are hanging down in tassle type design.
There is real leather fringe attached to sleeves and around bottom of skirt that is about 3" in length.
There is a yellow embroidered X on the left arm sleeve of dress about 3 inches long. Unsure of its significance.

CONDITION:
dress is intact and leather fringe is nice touch. Beading is missing one of the hanging tassles on front. There are small soil spots that may be able to be cleaned.There is no tie or cord in front eyelet closure. The one side seam is separating up from the bottom but can be stitched back together easily.

PLEASE NOTE:   On October 1 we suffered a severe storm in Pennsylvania, and some of our earliest listed store items have been destroyed by mega water in our basement.   We have since thrown away ALL damaged items.   There may, however be a couple of listings that have not been taken down.   If that happens, we will immediately refund your money as we try to update our inventory asap.
