This uniform is from 1939-42. It was re-designed in '39 with the neck zipper and a side waist zipper, and would have stayed that way until the styles changed (1948). But in '42 the War Rationing Board declared that zippers would be for military use only and the uniform was changed to button all the way down the front. T
